It seems the fairly new water fall, which greets fans and teams driving into the Turn 2 tunnel, is not the only water seen from Pocono Raceway.
The ABC Supply 500 for the Verizon IndyCar Series has been postponed to Monday at noon due to heavy downpours throughout the afternoon at Pocono. It marks the first time in four years IndyCar will race on a Monday at the ‘Tricky Triangle.’
Additionally, Pocono has experienced its third consecutive rain-out in 2016, adding to both NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events being pushed to Monday in June and three weeks ago in early August.
The forecast for Monday is much more positive tomorrow, with The Weather Channel reporting sunny skies with a 10 percent chance of rain throughout the day.
