Matt Kenseth Docked 15 Points Following Loudon Win

The race-winning team from Loudon was penalized following post-race inspection.

Matt Kenseth’s No. 20 team was docked 15 points and crew chief Jason Ratcliff was fined $25,000 for failing laser inspection following the New Hampshire 301.

Multiple teams were warned for failing pre-qualifying inspection. The No. 1 of Jamie McMurray, No. 3 of Austin Dillon, No. 4 of Kevin Harvick, No. 6 of Trevor Bayne, No. 10 of Danica Patrick, No. 14 of Tony Stewart, No. 15 of Clint Bowyer, No. 19 of Carl Edwards (twice), No. 21 of Ryan Blaney, No. 42 of Kyle Larson, No. 47 of AJ Allmendinger, and No. 83 of Matt DiBenedetto were all warned for various infractions.

Austin Dillon and the No. 22 of Joey Logano were also warned for failing pre-race inspection. Both Dillon and Harvick will lose 15 minutes of practice time this weekend.

On the XFINITY side, the No. 3 of Ty Dillon was warned for failing pre-qualifying inspection three times.
