In a third entry for BK Racing, NASCAR Next driver class of 2015-16 Dylan Lupton is scheduled to attempt his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut at Sonoma Raceway next weekend.
The California native is slated to drive the No. 93 Toyota, which has seen action twice this season, once with Matt DiBenedetto at the season-opening Daytona 500, and then at Richmond International Raceway with Ryan Ellis.
Lupton, 22, has 10 career starts in the XFINITY Series with a best finish of ninth last season at Mid-Ohio. In 2016, he has made two starts in the XFINITY Series and one event in the ARCA Racing Series.
While driving two-full time seasons in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, Lupton’s best year came in 2014, when he won at Bakersfield and finished in the top 10 for all 14 events.
