Dakoda Armstrong’s Xfinity Hauler Involved in Accident

Crashes on the track aren’t good. Crashes while heading to the track are worse.

On Wednesday morning, the transporter for Richard Petty Motorsports’ No. 43 Xfinity Series car was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Louisiana while driving to this weekend’s race at Texas Motor Speedway.

According to a release by RPM, the wreck caused damage to the tractor but did not injure driver Will Mallard. Mallard wasn’t cited by local police for the accident.

RPM is sending another tractor to Louisiana and expects to arrive in Fort Worth with plenty of time to make all on-track activity. The NXS cars take to the track for the first time at 1 p.m. for a single practice session.

Dakoda Armstrong, who drives the No. 43, will be looking to improve upon his career best finish at TMS of 10th, which he earned in this race last year.
