Welcome to Off the Wall With…, where we ask your favorite drivers five questions that are… well, off the wall! We’ll check in with a different driver each week to get a peek into life outside the racecar. This week, we’ve got NASCAR driver Landon Cassill on the spot.
What’s fun besides racing?
Cassill: Spending time outside.
What’s the top item on your bucket list?
Cassill: My wife, Katie, and I really want to travel to Europe, so we’re probably going to plan that trip sometime soon. I’d really like to see the Italian and French countryside. We definitely want to go to Rome, but I really want to spend time in the countryside.
Your go-to on movie night is:
Cassill: We watch a lot of Netflix. It’s not really a movie, but we’ve been watching Game of Thrones. I’ll get home from a race, and we’ll catch up on that.
What’s one item that’s always in your grocery bag?
Cassill: Avocados. It seems like we’re always buying avocados.
Most memorable fan interaction?
Cassill: There’a a little girl named Riley; she dresses up like Miss Sprint Cup and she’s a sweetheart. I’ve seen her multiple times and gotten to know her pretty well. She’s an awesome kid!
