Jeremy Clements to Honor Two Fallen Canadian Soldiers This Weekend at Texas Motor Speedway

This weekend, Jeremy Clements and team will pay tribute to two fallen Canadian soldiers – Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent and Corporal Nathan Cirillo – who lost their lives last week, as a result of a terrorist attack on Canada’s parliament hill. Both names will appear on Clement’s No. 51 Crescent Companies Chevrolet in the Nationwide Series race at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend.

The tragedy hit a little too close to home for Clements. The 29-year-old is doing the tribute in part because he has family members in the Montreal and Toronto area, as well as other parts of the country.

“I have family there,” Clements commented. “We are honored to pay tribute to these fallen soldiers and we pray for their families as they go through this difficult time.”

Fans can share their support for the families of Vincent and Cirillo via Twitter using the hashtag #DrivingWithHeroes.

Residing in Canada, she freelances for a number of racing publications, from SpeedwayMedia.com to On Pit Road while covering local short tracks up in Ontario.
