Fans Able to Attend Martinsville Drivers’ Meeting

This weekend, Martinsville Speedway has moved the drivers’ meeting before Sunday’s Sprint Cup Series race to pit road inside turn 4 to allow fans to get up close and personal. Fans who have purchased the Green Flag Experience addition to their tickets for the race will be able to attend on pit road. The meeting will also be broadcast on the SprintVision screens across the track.

“Our number one goal is to make sure the fans have the best experience possible when they come to a race here,” said Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell in a track release. “They’ve grown accustomed to feeling a part of the action during the race and now, by getting a view of what goes on in the drivers’ meeting, they will feel a part of what goes on before the race as well.”

Martinsville’s Green Flag Experience includes “question and answer sessions with Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Kevin Harvick, Kyle Larson, Jamie McMurray and David Ragan.” Fans who have purchased the addition will also have the opportunity to walk on the track and attend driver intros.

The package can be added to any ticket purchase for the price of $40 by calling 1-877-RACE-TIX or visiting www.martinsvillespeedway.com. The Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500 will air Sunday at 1:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
