‘NASCAR America’ Expands to An Hour During Chase

The Chase for the Sprint Cup will bring new changes to NBC Sports Network’s NASCAR block.

Each Monday during the Chase, the broadcast of NASCAR America, the network’s NASCAR news and commentary TV series, will be aired in a special, expanded 60-minute edition.

The expanded show will start with today’s airing (Sept. 8) at 4:30 p.m. ET.

In addition to its new coverage as part of the Chase, the network will also debut a special one-hour NASCAR Sprint Cup Chase show highlighting each driver making the 2014 Chase for the Sprint Cup, as well as the new format changes and race previews.

The Chase for the Sprint Cup kicks off the first of 10 weeks this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway.
