David Byrne wins the J.D. Byrider 100 Rich Vogler Classic at Lucas Oil Raceway Indianapolis. Byrne led the final quarter of a lap to score the win and become the 100th winner in USAC Silver Crown history.Tanner Swanson started on the pole and led the first 99 laps before losing the lead in the final corner. Kody Swanson rounded out the podium while Ryan Newman and Bobby Santos completed the Top 5.
Chris Windom, Jacob Wilson, Bobby East, Jaret Andretti and Ken Schrader completed the Top 10. Kody Swanson leaves Lucas Oil Raceway with the point lead with 262 total points. Tracy Hines finished in 19th and is now 19 points behind Swanson. East is a mere three points back from Hines. Windom sits in fourth with 204 while Tanner Swanson completes the Top 5 with 165 points.
The next race will be at Belleville High Banks in Belleville, Kansas. The Hustle on the High Banks will be contested on August 1st.
