Joey Logano broke the Kansas Speedway track record Saturday afternoon with a time of 29.522 at 182.914 mph in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Logano will start alongside championship contender Austin Dillon. Brian Scott, Kenny Wallace, and Paul Menard rounded out the top five.
Series point leader Elliott Sadler starts seventh. Second-place Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will start 10th.
