Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Claims Pole for 2011 Top Gear 300 at Charlotte

CONCORD, N.C. – Ricky Stenhouse Jr. posted the fastest lap in qualifying for the Nationwide Series Top Gear 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Stenhouse turned a lap of 28.878 seconds at a speed of 186.994 mph. The pole is Stenhouse’s second of the season and third of his Nationwide career.

Kevin Harvick will be to Stenhouse’s outside after posting a 28.901-second lap which equates to a speed of 186.845 mph. The second row will be comprised of Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch.
