Hill sent Connor Zilisch wide, then turned Michael McDowell and caused a huge wreck in his first Xfinity Series race back from suspension.
Zilisch scored the victory despite a late-race run-in with teammate Shane van Gisbergen.
The two drivers were battling for the lead when contact in turn 7 sent van Gisbergen hard into the outside wall.
In his second of three starts this weekend, Zilisch is on the pole for today’s race.
It’ll be his first Xfinity race since 2016.
Mayer only led 30 laps and held off the field on multiple late race restarts en route to victory. The win marks Haas Factory Team’s first as an organization.
It’s Love’s third pole of the 2025 season. He’ll share the front row with William Sawalich.
