A Kurt Busch sweep of the road courses, much like Kyle Busch did in 2008, is a real possibility this weekend.

Entering 2011, *Trevor Bayne*, *Regan Smith* and *Paul Menard* had combined to score just two top-5 finishes in 244 starts. Twenty races later, they have more wins (three) than they had _top-5s_ before this season in what’s been a watershed year for first-time winners. The Brickyard 400 sits behind only the Daytona 500 on most driver wish lists.

Marcos Ambrose has crept into the fray of consistent contenders and has outperformed Gordon and Stewart on numerous occasions in recent years.
I would put David Ragan back in the lineup this weekend. He has a pair of top 10s in eight starts there and the Roush cars are always strong in the Irish Hills.
This week, the series heads to the tricky triangle of Pocono Raceway. The 2.5-mile track usually lends itself to long green-flag runs.
Roush Fenway Racing’s Greg Biffle was only a few laps from victory when he had to pull his No. 16 down pit road in the final laps of the 600.
