This weekend, the action was at the Texas Motor Speedway in Justin, Texas, just a few miles north of Fort Worth.
On Friday night (April 9), ESPN2 broadcast the NASCAR Nationwide Series Bashas’ Supermarkets 200 from Phoenix International Raceway.
Saturday brought the Nationwide Series to Nashville Superspeedway for their fifth race of the season. This event was televised on ESPN as opposed to ESPN2.
This past weekend, the Sprint Cup and Camping World Truck series were both at Martinsville Speedway for the Goody’s Fast Relief 500 and Kroger 250.
On Saturday afternoon (March 20), ESPN on ABC brought us live coverage of the NASCAR Nationwide Series’ Scotts Turf Builder 300.
The Izod IndyCar Series had their season opener on Sunday in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Since I like all kinds of motorsports, I naturally gave it a watch.
The one major complaint that most viewers and I had is the fact that FOX wasn’t giving potential tire issues at Atlanta the attention that they deserved.
To FOX’s credit, there was very little mention of Kim Kardashian’s presence at the race.
