It will be a familiar face leading the field to green for Sunday’s (May 10) NASCAR Cup Series race at Watkins Glen International.
Shane van Gisbergen won the pole for the Go Bowling at The Glen, his first pole of the season and the fifth of his career. Van Gisbergen won the race last season at Watkins Glen and will be looking to repeat and stay in the fight for a Chase spot.
Michael McDowell will share the front row with van Gisbergen, with Austin Cindric starting in third, and the other two Trackhouse Racing drivers, Ross Chastain and Connor Zilisch, starting in fourth and fifth, respectively.
Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney, Christopher Bell, Chase Briscoe and Ty Gibbs complete the top 10 starting positions in sixth through 10th, respectively.
With 38 entries, all drivers will compete at The Glen with zero DNQs. The two open team drivers, Josh Bilicki and Katherine Legge, will start 37th and 38th, respectively.

The Go Bowling at The Glen will take place on Sunday, the 10th at 3 p.m. ET with TV coverage provided by FOX Sports 1.
