Brent Crews has completed the Phoenix Raceway sweep – winning both ARCA Menards Series races at the track in 2025. The 17-year-old did so by going flag to flag in Saturday’s (Nov. 1) ARCA Menards Series West season finale, leading all 100 laps en route to victory. The win marks Crews’ sixth win across all ARCA platforms this season.
“We were loose all day, but these guys never stopped working on this thing,” Crews told FloRacing. “It helped having experience last night (Crews ran 28th in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race), but glad we were able to do what we were supposed to do and put it in victory lane today.”
Carson Brown crossed the line in second, with Thomas Annunziata finishing third. Tristan McKee ran fourth while Leland Honeyman rounded out the top five in fifth.
The remaining top-10 finishers included Robbie Kennealy, Connor Hall, Thad Moffitt, Jake Finch and Trevor Huddleston in sixth through 10th, respectively.
As for the 29-year-old Huddleston, by taking to the track in the practice session yesterday, the driver of the No. 50 clinched the driver’s championship. It’s Huddleston’s first career title, accomplished in a season in which he took home a career high four wins. His High Point Racing team also won the owner’s championship.
“Now that I did the burnout, it solidifies it,” Huddleston told FloRacing. “We had great racecars every race we went to. There’s gonna be a lot of beer drinking and a lot of partying.”
Crews utilized the outside lane on the initial start to rocket around McKee and take possession of the lead. Behind them, both Taylor Reimer and Jade Avedisian made hard contact with the outside wall on the exit of turn 2 in the opening laps. Avedisian suffered more of a positional loss than Reimer did, falling outside of the top 10 and eventually off the lead lap.
The drama of the opening restart and subsequent laps following died down quickly from there, however. Crews set sail and began to gap McKee and the rest of the field. By lap 15, he had a lead of well over a second in length.
The first yellow flag of the race fell on lap 50, coming as a scheduled caution at the halfway break. Crews maintained a lead of over two seconds for much of the opening green-flag run, leading every lap in the process.
On the other side of the halfway break, the restart looked very similar. Crews took the outside, with McKee lining up on the inside. Like the initial start, though, Crews rocketed around McKee at the exit of turn 2 to reclaim the lead. McKee suffered a different fate, as Brown got around him for second position in the process.
The majority of the second half of the race was very straightforward. Annunziata made some noise in the middle portions of the top 10, picking up a few positions over the course of the run. With just 13 laps to go, as it seemed like Crews would cruise to a victory, the caution flew for the second time, as Eric Johnson Jr. spun in turn 2.
Crews remained dominant on the final restart of the race, holding the lead with relative ease. Annunziata continued his late-race charge, getting up to third in the closing laps. A few laps later, Crews took the checkered flag largely uncontested.

With that, the 2025 ARCA series season has concluded. ARCA will next return to the racetrack for the annual Daytona Preseason test in January at Daytona International Speedway, a precursor to contesting the season-opening race at the high-banked superspeedway a month later on February 14.
