Layne Riggs has won the pole for tonight’s (Oct. 24) NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway.
Riggs’ No. 34 was the fastest of the session with a lap of 97.217 mph.
Riggs enters Martinsville’s elimination race six points below the playoff cut line as he looks to make his first Championship 4 in his first playoff appearance.
Last week’s winner, Gio Ruggiero, will join Riggs on the front row, qualifying second.
Ty Majeski, Corey Heim and Kaden Honeycutt rounded out the top five, while Tyler Ankrum, Rajah Caruth, Grant Enfinger, Daniel Hemric and Andres Perez completed the top 10.
With 35 trucks on the entry list, all drivers will compete tonight.
