William Byron Adds Anduril Sponsorship

William Byron will have a new primary sponsor in the NASCAR Cup Series, with Anduril Industries coming on board the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, the team announced Oct. 22.

Anduril will serve as primary sponsor for Byron for two races a year beginning with the 2026 season, with the deal running through the 2028 season.

The first race in the partnership will be in the Cup Series’ inaugural San Diego street course race, at which Anduril is also serving as race sponsor.

It’ll then return at Chicagoland Speedway.

“Anduril is transforming its industry with the same kind of passion for winning that we bring to racing,” Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports, said in a statement. “We’re proud to represent a company that pushes the boundaries of advanced technology to support our military and engages in programs to honor service members and their families. William and the No. 24 team will be tremendous ambassadors for Anduril and its message.”

“What stands out to me is Anduril’s commitment to innovation and its discipline to being ready for any challenge,” Byron added. “That’s the same approach our team takes every week, so it’s special to represent a company that shares those principles.

“The fact that this program gives back to those who serve is something we’re proud to support and makes the partnership especially meaningful. We’re looking forward to having Anduril on board.”

Through 34 races this season, Byron has scored two wins, 10 top fives and 15 top 10s.
