NASCAR Mailbox: Instant Reaction of Daniel Suarez to Spire Motorsports

On Wednesday, October 22, Spire Motorsports announced that Daniel Suarez will drive the No. 7 car in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2026.

The crew chief for Suarez was not announced.

At Trackhouse Racing, Suarez won at Sonoma Raceway in 2022 and EchoPark Speedway in 2024. There are two races to go this year for Suarez to get another win in the No. 99 before he switches teams once more.

What should expectations be for the No. 7 team in 2026? Is the move an upgrade, a downgrade or lateral?
