Rajah Caruth will join JR Motorsports in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series in 2026 in a part-time schedule, the team announced Oct. 21.
The No. 88 Caruth will drive is set to have HendrickCars.com sponsorship. The same sponsor has backed Caruth in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this season with Spire Motorsports.
The amount of races — as well as Caruth’s general schedule for the season — was not announced.
Caruth has been full time in the Truck Series since 2023 and has two wins, nine top fives, and 28 top 10s in the series. In 2025, he has one win, four top fives and 12 top 10s, sitting second in points entering Martinsville Speedway, the penultimate race of the season.
He also has 22 previous NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, including three in 2025. His best result of 18th came at Kansas Speedway with Hendrick Motorsports.
JRM did not reveal if the No. 88 will be a full- or part-time car in 2026. This year, it has been piloted by Connor Zilisch, who is moving to the NASCAR Cup Series next year with Trackhouse Racing and has scored 10 wins, 19 top fives and 21 top 10s in the car while in the hunt for the series title.
JRM’s previously announced roster for 2026 includes Justin Allgaier, Sammy Smith, Zilisch and Carson Kvapil, with the latter two splitting the No. 1.
Neither Caruth nor Spire have addressed if he is moving on from the team in the Truck Series.
