LINCOLN, Ala. — 2025 will not be the last we see of Frankie Muniz‘s foray into NASCAR.
The actor-turned-racecar driver confirmed to Frontstretch on Oct. 17 that he will be back behind the wheel in 2026.
“Oh yeah, 100%, I’ll be racing something for sure,” Muniz tells Frontstretch. “Yeah, we’ll see. I can’t say too much.”
As for what team or what series Muniz will be driving for, those parts remain unknown. However, wherever he does end up, the car or truck will have a Ford emblem on the nose, he says.
“I’ve got a few options right now in different series, and just being honest, obviously, [I will] continue my relationship with Ford,” Muniz said. “I take the direction they want to push me in, I’ll go. We’re discussing it all right now.
“But yeah, I’ve got some options, and we’ll see what happens. But I would like to drive a truck again, so we’ll see.”
This year was Muniz’s first full-time one in a NASCAR national series. He competed as a rookie for Reaume Brothers Racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, posting one top 10 and three top 20s in 18 starts before a broken wrist from an accident at home sidelined him for four races. The 39-year-old returned from the injury to race at Talladega Superspeedway this weekend.
Aside from racing in the Truck Series, Muniz competed in two NASCAR Xfinity Series races in 2024 and raced full time in the ARCA Menards Series in 2023, finishing fourth in points.
