Tyler Reif Leaving SPS After 2025

Tyler Reif is leaving Sigma Performance Services after competing with the organization in the ARCA Menards Series platform in 2025, team owner Joe Farre confirmed to Frontstretch.

“Tyler offered the team an opportunity to work with a talented young driver who was constantly learning new skills at every track,” Farre said. “His experience and skills grew as we faced larger, faster tracks. Tyler learned race management and discovered the aero effects of large, fast racetracks as the season progressed. His determination to win drove the team to continually challenge the status quo and to never rest when developing new setups, chassis, body improvements, and key team support positions.

“Sigma built a full stable of 10 race cars for the season, including superspeedway, intermediate, short track, and road course cars. We faced challenges midseason with an unusually unlucky streak that resulted in several significant wrecks. This required the team and our supporters, like GMS, to rise to the challenge and to rebuild, prep, and field quality cars despite these challenges. We were blessed to have key partners such as Chevrolet, Ilmor, Robert Yates Racing Engines, and all the key sponsors and supporters of ARCA, and we could not have managed this season without the help and support of these key supporters.”

Reif will attempt his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut with Niece Motorsports in the season finale at Phoenix Raceway. He is also rumored, per Farre, to move up to the Truck Series in 2026 in some capacity.

When asked about his 2026 plans, Reif responded, “I think I’ll be moving up, but I’m not sure where yet.”

Reif joined SPS for a full-time campaign in the ARCA Menards Series East and a part-time run in the national division. He finished second in East driver points, accruing four top fives and five top 10s in the eight-race season. The 18-year-old also finished fifth in the ARCA Menards Series West standalone race at Phoenix.

In the national division, Reif wound up 14th in points. During his nine-race stint, he scored three top fives, five top 10s and a best finish of second at Watkins Glen International.

Overall, the 18-year-old Reif has competed in all three ARCA series, capturing three ARCA West wins along with a victory in his national division debut at Phoenix in 2023.

SPS finished third in the East owner standings and 20th in the main series national owner points. The team is also 12th in the West owner points and will compete in the final two races of the West season with Connor Hall piloting its No. 24.

The organization will further expand its footprint in ARCA in 2026, according to Farre, hopefully teaming up with Hall.

“With 2025 behind us, and a notebook full of lessons, you can rest assured that Sigma is not done building,” Farre continued. “We are known as innovators in the racing industry, and 2025 provided a platform from which we intend to build. You should expect to see Sigma participate full time in the ARCA national series, as well as plenty of visits to our ARCA East and ARCA West companions. Like 2025, we expect to work with a group of talented drivers and always enjoy the diversity of input and experience that comes from working with a group of different drivers.

“Connor Hall proved to be very instrumental in helping this team work on speed and consistency, and we are thankful to have the opportunity to work with talented individuals like Connor who help to elevate us all. We will always be Connor Hall fans and hope to work with him closely in 2026.”
