Entry Lists: IMSA at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta

The 2025 season for IMSA’s top series will come to a close this weekend at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. It’s looking to be a busy Petit Le Mans weekend.

IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Motul Petit Le Mans

Saturday’s 28th Annual Motul Petit Le Mans has 53 teams entered. This is equal to the entry list from Indianapolis last month and last year’s Motul Petit Le Mans. It will feel very different from Indianapolis, though.

The GTP class has the same 12 teams entered from last time out. Everyone has three drivers, though.

That means that Julien Andlauer and Laurens Vanthoor are back with Porsche Penske Motorsport, while Scott Dixon is back with Meyer Shank Racing with Curb-Agajanian. Norman Nato will be in the No. 40 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac.

At JDC-Miller MotorSports, Max Esterson, who raced in Formula 2 this year, will make his IMSA debut alongside full-timer Tijmen van der Helm and Neel Jani.

Matt Campbell and Mathieu Jaminet currently have a 131-point lead over teammates Felipe Nasr and Neel Jani. Philipp Eng and Dries Vanthoor are another 14 points back. With a total of 385 points on the line, Campbell and Jaminet have a decent lead, but they have to stay out of trouble to guarantee the title.

In LMP2, there are 12 cars entered. The only change of note here is that Malthe Jakobsen will not be in the CrowdStrike Racing by APR No. 04. Alex Quinn will race in his place.

Points-wise, AO Racing’s Dane Cameron and PJ Hyett have an 85-point lead over United Autosports’ Dan Goldburg. Prior to qualifying, they would have to finish fourth or better to guarantee the championship.

GTD Pro has 10 teams entered, down one from Indianapolis. 75 Express, the Kenny Habul-run Mercedes squad, is not entered. Like the GTP class, everyone has three-driver lineups, resulting in some familiar faces returning.

WEC regulars Daniel Juncadella and Nico Varrone are back with Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports, while Ben Barker and Dennis Olsen are back with Ford Multimatic Motorsports. Michael Christensen will be the third driver in “Rexy.”

In the points, Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports’ Antonio Garcia and Alexander Sims have an 18-point lead over DragonSpeed’s Albert Costa. With a 30-point difference between winning and finishing second, this is a veritable dead heat.

There are 19 teams entered in GTD, up one from Indianapolis. The extra entry is Magnus Racing with their Virtual Energy Aston Martin. This weekend, Jan Heylen will join the team alongside the returning John Potter and Spencer Pumpelly.

At van der Steur Racing, Rory van der Steur is back in the car this weekend, replacing Eduardo Barrichello. Van der Steur missed Indianapolis due to an injury suffered while riding a bike.

As of this writing, there is currently a TBD for Triarsi Competizione’s No. 021 Ferrari on the entry list. However, the team announced on their Instagram Tuesday that Riccardo Agostini will return to the team and drive. He has three previous starts with the team. His best finish was fourth in last year’s Rolex 24 at Daytona.

At Conquest Racing, Mike Skeen will drive the No. 34 Ferrari alongside regulars Manny Franco and Daniel Serra. He will replace Ben Tuck. Cetilar Racing has drafted in a different Ferrari factory driver for the weekend. Miguel Molina will replace Antonio Fuoco.

Winward Racing’s Philip Ellis and Russell Ward have a 224-point lead over The Heart of Racing’s Casper Stevenson. Triarsi Competizione’s Kenton Koch is third. The lead is almost insurmountable. If Winward Racing can stay out of trouble, they’ll take home their second straight GTD championship.

IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Motul Petit Le Mans Entry List

The Motul Petit Le Mans is scheduled to go green at 12:10 p.m. ET Saturday afternoon. Coverage will begin at Noon ET on NBC and air on there through 3 p.m. ET. The full race will stream live on Peacock and everything after 3 p.m. ET will be exclusive to the streamer.

IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge FOX Factory 120

Friday’s season finale for IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta has 43 teams entered, up two entries from Indianapolis.

The Grand Sport class has 27 entries, up from 25 last time. One team that raced in Indianapolis that is not entered is Motorsports In Action, which finished second with Jesse Lazare and Alexandra Hainer.

Returning teams include 89x Motorsports, which returns with their Aston Martin for Michael Fitzpatrick and Johan Schwartz. JDC-Miller MotorSports is back with their Porsche for the first time since Road America. Kingpin Racing is also back with their part-time Supra.

CarBahn Motorsports with Peregrine Racing’s second car is back, but with a new driver lineup. Cameron Shields is back in the car for the first time since he scored a podium finish at Road America. He’s joined by NTT IndyCar Series racer Nolan Siegel. Before he ever raced in IndyCar, Siegel made six starts with the team in 2021 and 2023. His best finish was a sixth at Lime Rock in 2021.

After a disappointing race in Indianapolis, Rennsport One’s Heylen and Luca Mars have a 100-point lead over CarBahn Motorsports with Peregrine Racing’s Sean McAlister and Jeff Westphal. McCumbee McAleer Racing’s Jenson Altzman is 20 points further back. Heylen and Mars will need to finish sixth or better to win the championship.

In TCR, there are 16 teams entered. HART is not entered with their Honda Civic. However, RVA Graphics Motorsports by Speed Syndicate’s Jaden Conwright and Luke Rumburg are back. They took their first-ever victory at VIR back in August.

The points are extremely close. Montreal Motorsport Group’s Louis-Phillippe Montour and Karl Wittmer have a mere 10-point lead over Bryan Herta Autosport’s Harry Gottsacker. BHA’s Preston Brown and Denis Dupont are only 70 points out. The battle is guaranteed to go down to the final lap.

IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge FOX Factory 120 Entry List

The FOX Factory 120 is scheduled to go green at 12:40 p.m. ET Friday afternoon. Coverage will begin at 12:35 p.m. ET on the IMSA Official YouTube channel and on Peacock.
