KANSAS CITY, Kan. — NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Nick Sanchez confirmed with Frontstretch that he will be back in the No. 48 for Big Machine Racing next year on Saturday, Sept. 27.
“Oh yeah,” Sanchez said to Frontstretch after being asked of his return. “Unless they tell me otherwise. That’s our approach. It hasn’t even been a question. Just go race this year and go race next year.”
Sanchez also confirmed that he will remain full time with the team next season as well.
“How we end this year is how we’re going to start next year, truthfully,” Sanchez said of his BMR team. “I think we’re in a good place. I feel like I’m driving the best I have in my career, and I still have a lot of room to get better and grow.”
In 2025, the Florida native has amassed one win, six top fives and nine top 10s throughout the first 27 races of the season. He enters the Kansas Speedway weekend three points below the series’ playoff cutline.
