Brenden Queen Sweeps ARCA Races at Kansas

Brenden Queen is fast in ARCA Menards Series competition at Kansas Speedway. He won the spring race there. On Friday, Sept. 26, he posted the fastest lap in practice and earned the pole award, too.

In the race itself, he took the lead on a late-race restart and led the field to the white flag. However, series officials threw the yellow flag when Thad Moffitt looped his No. 46 Toyota, necessitating another overtime attempt.

It didn’t faze Queen. He nailed the restart and triumphed again at Kansas.

Queen triumphed for the eighth time in 2025. With his victory, all he must do to win the driver’s championship is take the green flag at Toledo Speedway.

“What a rookie campaign,” Queen told FOX Sports post-race. “One more race left. Maybe we can get nine, but I think we’re closing in on what the main prize is.”

Gio Ruggiero finished second after leading the most laps.

Venturini Motorsports teammates Leland Honeyman and Kris Wright finished third and fourth, followed by Nitro Motorsports pilot Taylor Reimer in fifth.

VMS driver Mason Mitchell brought his No. 25 Toyota home in sixth with fellow Nitro driver Moffitt in seventh, Andrew Patterson in eighth, Jason Kitzmiller in ninth and Isabella Robusto in 10th.

The penultimate race of the national division season saw a few cautions, but all for single-car incidents. Unfortunately for Bobby Earnhardt, Lavar Scott, Corey Day, and Andy Jankowiak, their problems resulted in DNFs.

Earnhardt made his second start of the season with Rise Motorsports. While running 17th, he cut his right-front tire, which sent him into the wall.

Earnhardt finished 26th. Presley Sorah is slated to drive the No. 31 at Toledo.

Shortly before the scheduled lap 50 competition caution, Scott brushed the wall. A few laps later, his No. 6 sustained terminal damage after his right-front tire went flat.

After coming oh-so-close to winning the series’ most recent race at Salem Speedway, Scott left Kansas with a 25th-place disappointment.

In practice earlier on Friday, Day’s No. 77 had an oil line come loose, ending his session prematurely. Then, in the race, while running inside the top 10, his engine expired, again ending his race early in 23rd.

Jankowiak was the final driver who endured a rough end to his race. In his final start of the season, Jankowiak crashed as the field took the white flag, sending the race into overtime.

Jankowiak finished 18th, not indicative of his performance.

Queen withstood the two overtime restarts en route to sweeping the 2025 ARCA Kansas races. He has three trophies left that he could take home: the Toledo race win, the driver’s championship, and the owner’s championship.
