Bristol, Tenn. – As the 2025 ARCA Menards Series season nears its end, three races remain. The series will first head to Salem Speedway for its historic 111th event at the Indiana short track, followed by a trip to Kansas Speedway for its second race there this year. The season then concludes at Toledo Speedway, where the driver and owner championships will be crowned.
Several organizations are finalizing their driver lineups, too.
Nitro Motorsports will have Andrew Patterson in its No. 70 Toyota at Salem and Thad Moffitt at Kansas, team owner Nick Tucker confirmed to Frontstretch. Tucker could not remember who would finish out the season at Toledo in the No. 70. He knew the pilot of the No. 70 would not be one of those two drivers, though.
Patterson has nine career starts with two top 10s. He also competed in the 2024 Salem race, finishing with a 22nd-place DNF due to a mechanical failure. This will be his first start with Nitro and his fifth in the national division this year. He drove the No. 40 for his self-owned Andrew Patterson Racing in part-time efforts in the main series and ARCA Menards Series East.
Moffitt was at Bristol, but he has not driven since at Watkins Glen International. After intending to run full time for Nitro, Moffitt dropped down to part-time status and has contested eight events. He has a total of one top five, second at Talladega Superspeedway, and five top 10s. Moreover, despite having run less than half the season, he is still 13th in points.
Bristol Motor Speedway was the first race that Lawless Alan did not drive the No. 20. Alan is no longer with Venturini Motorsports. While it’s unclear what led to his departure, Alan was not a Toyota development driver in 2025. Nevertheless, driving for Toyota-backed VMS, he enjoyed successes this year, capturing a win at Talladega, 10 top fives, 10 top 10s, two poles, and 77 laps led. Alan is third in points.
As reported during the FOX Sports broadcast at Bristol, Leland Honeyman will drive the No. 20 Toyota at Salem and Kansas. He has one goal: to win.
Tucker also stated that Julian DaCosta will pilot the No. 20 Toyota for VMS at Toledo. That race will be the last for Venturini in the national division. DaCosta debuted at Madison International Speedway earlier in 2025 with Nitro. He started eighth and finished fifth. The No. 20 is fourth in the owner point standings.
Fellow full-time team Maples Motorsports has team owner Michael Maples in the No. 99 and three different drivers will round out the season in the No. 67.
A pair of Ryans will wheel the No. 67 at Salem and Kansas with Ryan Vargas and Ryan Roulette, respectively. In three starts with Maples this year, Vargas has one top 10, ironically, a 10th at Kansas. In five races this season, Roulette has one top 10, ninth at Daytona International Speedway. Kansas will be Roulette’s 20th career ARCA start. He competed at Kansas in the spring 2024 race, starting and finishing 20th.
Shane Backes will end the season in the MMS No. 67. Backes made his series debut and Toledo will be his third start. The No. 67 is 14th in owner points.
Tony Cosentino has competed in the last four straight series races and 11 overall. Back with Fast Track Racing, he has two top 10s and sits 12th in points. Cosentino is likely to run the remainder of the season with FTR, pending sponsorship, team owner Andy Hillenburg confirmed to Frontstretch. Cosentino said that he will be at Salem and Toledo. “Kansas is the expensive wild card,” he added.
MAN Motorsports will field its No. 95 in two of the last three races of the season with Connor Popplewell at Salem and Jackson McLerran at Toledo. Popplewell made his lone ARCA start at Salem in 2023 with the team. He started eighth and finished an impressive fifth. McLerran, meanwhile, has made two starts in the national division and four in the East in 2025, registering a pair of top 10s in East competition. This will be his first time at Toledo, though.
