Robbie Kennealy Wins ARCA West Race at All-American Speedway

Robbie Kennealy got it done from the pole during the ARCA West’s visit to All-American Speedway on Saturday night (Sept. 13). He led 142 of 150 laps to win the NAPA Auto Parts 150 presented by the West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame. It is Kennealy’s first career ARCA Menards Series West victory.

Trevor Huddleston came home second with Andrew Chapman, Joey Iest, and Eric Johnson Jr. rounding out the top-five.

Tanner Reif initially took the lead off the start Saturday night, with Huddleston hustling close behind as they took advantage of the polesitter Kennealy. Kennealy fought right back as he cleared Huddleston before setting his sights on Reif and taking the lead back on lap 8.

Reif would subsequently run into problems and had his chances of winning ruined in an instant. He would eventually finish eighth in the 14-car field.

Johnson and Eric Nascimento Jr. made contact fighting for third, with a pack of cars under a blanket ready to make moves. Nascimento would fall like a rock after the back and forth, falling through the field and eventually going a lap down to Kennealy.

RJ Smotherman would smother the wall on lap 95 to bring out the first caution of the night. Smotherman limped his Ford to the pits behind the backstretch with heavy right front damage. The damage ended Smotherman’s night.

Kennealy scooted away on the ensuing restart before spins from Jake Bollman and Nascimento reracked the field.

Huddleston put in one last run at Kennealy with less than 15 laps remaining to no avail as Kennealy finished off his dominating performance.
