AJ Allmendinger put his Kaulig Racing No. 16 on the pole for the NASCAR Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday, Sept. 13.
Allmendinger set a lap of 126.930 mph to claim his first pole since 2015 at Watkins Glen International.
Ryan Blaney will join Allmendinger on the front row starting in second.
Austin Cindric qualified third as he looks to earn a spot in the Round of 12. Ty Gibbs took fourth with Kyle Larson completing the top five in fifth.
Denny Hamlin, William Byron, Bubba Wallace, Josh Berry and Christopher Bell qualified sixth through 10th, respectively.
With 39 cars on the entry list, all drivers will race Saturday night in Bristol.
