Lawless Alan was the fastest on the dirt Sunday (Aug. 31) at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds, securing the pole position for the ARCA Menards Series Southern Illinois 100.
The lap earned Alan his second pole of the season and his ARCA career.
Joining Alan on the front row will be Brent Crews, who won the other dirt track race of the season at the Illinois State Fairgrounds.
In row two, Max Reaves will start third alongside Lavar Scott in fourth. Reaves won the series’ most recent race at Madison International Speedway and Scott posted the fastest lap during practice earlier on Sunday.
Points leader Brenden Queen will roll off fifth.
Rounding out the top 10 are Kelly Kovski, Jade Avedisian, Isabella Robusto, Ryan Vargas, and Tony Cosentino in sixth through 10th, respectively.
With 20 drivers entered, all will compete in the Southern Illinois 100 on Sunday.
ARCA DuQuoin Starting Lineup
The 100-lap race at the 1-mile DuQuoin dirt track is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, the 31st, with TV coverage on FOX Sports 1.
