NASCAR Cup Series qualifying at Daytona International Speedway on Friday (Aug. 22) has been cancelled due to inclement weather.
Per the series rulebook, former Daytona winner Ryan Blaney will start on pole for the regular season finale.
Alex Bowman will start second in his pursuit to claim a spot for the 2025 Cup Series playoffs.
Row two sees Kyle Larson in third and Joey Logano in fourth. Austin Cindric completes the top five in fifth.
Denny Hamlin, Austin Dillon, William Byron, Chase Briscoe and Brad Keselowski will start sixth through 10th, respectively.
With 40 cars on the entry list, all drivers will race Saturday night in Daytona.
