Alpha Prime Racing will field a fourth entry for Caesar Bacarella in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Daytona International Speedway, the team announced Aug. 18.
Bacarella will drive the No. 5 with backing from 7-Eleven and his own Prime Bites brand.
The team acquired the owner’s points from Our Motorsports’ No. 5 entry, which shut down after the race at Dover Motor Speedway.
Through two starts this season at Daytona and Talladega Superspeedway, Bacarella has finished 13th and 30th.
He has previously driven the team’s No. 45, which will be driven by Josh Williams this weekend in his move to the organization.
