Brent Crews secured the fastest lap in qualifying for Friday’s (August 8) ARCA Menards Series event at Watkins Glen International.
The driver of Joe Gibbs Racing’s No. 18 was also quickest in practice.
It marks his third pole of the ARCA season, following Phoenix Raceway and last week at Iowa Speedway.
Alon Day, running Venturini Motorsports’ No. 25, starts second.
Lining up on row two, Lawless Alan will take the third position, with 15-year-old ARCA debutant Tristan McKee starting fourth. Tyler Reif rounds out the top five.
Isabella Robusto, points leader Brenden Queen, Lavar Scott, Kris Wright and Thad Moffitt complete the top 10.
The field is set at at 27 cars after Shane Backes in the No. 00 withdrew. Backes instead moved to Maples Motorsports’ No. 67.
