Michael McDowell Running Kaulig No. 11 at Watkins Glen

Michael McDowell is the second driver to replace Josh Williams at Kaulig Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 11 at Watkins Glen International. FOX Sports’ Bob Pockrass first posted the news, which has been confirmed via NASCAR’s roster portal.

It’ll be McDowell’s first Xfinity start since 2016. In that race, he won at Road America for Richard Childress Racing.

He has one win, six top fives and 20 top 10s in 94 starts in the series since 2007.

In 2025, McDowell has two top fives and three top 10s in the NASCAR Cup Series amid his first season with Spire Motorsports in the No. 71.

McDowell follows Carson Hocevar, who drove the No. 11 to a sixth-place finish at Iowa Speedway.

Williams was released from the No. 11 after 21 races, having scored two top 10s this season.
