Derek White will drive the No. 69 for MBM Motorsports for this weekend’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Watkins Glen International, the team announced Aug. 4.
It’ll be White’s first start of the year in the No. 69.
“I am so proud to have Derek in our No. 69 truck,” MBM’s Carl Long said in a team release. “Derek loves to represent his Mohawk heritage, and the design on the truck represents it well.
“We have had some strong races on road courses with Derek in the past. I am looking forward to knocking the rust off his road racing skills! His home is a few hours north on the Kahnawake reserve near Montreal, so we expect lots of his friends to come out to the track to watch in person.”
This will be White’s second truck start of the season after running the Reaume Brothers Racing No. 2 in a partnership with MBM at North Wilkesboro Speedway.
He’ll be the second driver to run MBM’s No. 69 in 2025, following Tyler Tomassi.
