Brent Crews Launching Own Truck Team

Brent Crews will form his own NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team and debut in Watkins Glen International, he announced Aug. 1.

Crews will drive the No. 70 for the newly formed Brent Crews Motorsports with Pristine Auction as the primary sponsor at Watkins Glen.

The release said the No. 70 is expected to race again after Watkins Glen, but the exact schedule wasn’t announced.

“I grew up going to dinner on race weekends with guys like Nick Tucker and Brian Keselowski listening to stories about building race cars and engines out of spare parts and barely getting to the track,” Crews said in a team release. “Even though everyone would tell them they were crazy, it always sounded like so much fun to me.

“When we started talking about me buying a truck to run Watkins Glen, no one was willing to tell me it was a bad idea and it just kind of snowballed from there. I sold all my micro sprints to raise some of the money and here we are.”

Crews has made 12 career starts in the ARCA Menards series, with four career victories, including two in the 2025 season.

Crews has also made three NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts in 2025 with TRICON Garage, including a career-best eighth at Lime Rock Park in June.

He’s set to make additional starts with TRICON this season alongside his appearances with his own No. 70.
