Layne Riggs swept all three stages to claim his second victory of 2025 in Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park on Friday (July 25).
Riggs led 160 of the 200 laps to claim the victory for Front Row Motorsports in IRP.

āIt was so great,ā Riggs said postrace. āI was just out trying to save my tires for the end. I was just waiting for a late race caution. I was trying to run the bottom and try to run the least amount of distance off my tires.
“Iām out of breath that was a pretty cool celebration. Thank you to all the guys at home, all the guys in the fab shop and body shop. We did it for you guys. This thing was really fast. Made my job easy today.ā
Corey Day earned his best career NASCAR Truck Craftsman Truck Series finish in second with Stewart Friesen coming home in third.
However, Friesen was disqualified after failing post-race inspection. Corey Heim, who initially finished fourth, was relegated to third place. Grant Enfinger was promoted to fourth while Ty Majeski was fifth.
Heim took control early from his first start spot with Chandler Smith moving up to second past Majeski.
Riggs flexed his muscle early, moving up from his 11th starting spot to take the lead from Heim on lap 22. Riggs continued to set a blistering pace, capturing the stage one victory over Majeski by over three seconds.

Riggs restarted the second stage from the top position with Majeski alongside. On the restart, Riggs gained control and quickly pulled away in the opening laps of stage two.
The first caution for incident came on lap 100 when Josh Reaume made heavy contact with the outside wall in turns 3 and 4.

The race restarted with 15 to go in stage two with Riggs holding off teammate Smith to take the lead with Friesen making a hard charge to second on fresh tires.
Friesen made time on the leader Riggs, but it wasnāt enough as Riggs claimed the stage victory to sweep the opening stages.
Friesen and Enfinger restarted up front after the stage caution as many of the leaders pitted. Friesen emerged up front on the restart as Rhodes, Heim and Riggs made their way to the front.
The hard-charging Riggs who fell behind the trucks of Rhodes and Heim made his way past and set his sights on leader Friesen. With 55 to go, Riggs caught and passed Friesen to retake the lead.

Riggs maintained a lead just under a second before pulling away with under 30 laps to go to claim victory in IRP.
