Kyle Larson will enter a fourth NASCAR Xfinity Series race this season, driving Hendrick Motorsports’ No. 17 this weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the team announced July 21.
Larson was initially announced for two starts in the No. 17, coming at Homestead-Miami Speedway and Bristol Motor Speedway. He also drove a race for JR Motorsports in its No. 88 at Texas Motor Speedway, filling in for the injured Connor Zilisch.
In those three starts, Larson currently has two wins in a row via Bristol and Texas, plus a fourth-place result at Homestead.
He also has three wins, 10 top fives and 13 top 10s this season in the NASCAR Cup Series, coming into Indy third in points.
