Bringing the Heat: Landon Huffman Bringing Baseball & Racing Together

This week on Bringing the Heat with Trey Lyle, Chase Folsom and CARS Tour driver Landon Huffman talk some baseball.

Specifically, they discuss how Huffman’s connection to the Rocket City Trash Pandas in Madison, Ala., came about and why it’s continued over into 2025.

Huffman shared his experience getting to visit Toyota Field, sharing his pitch — pun fully intended — to baseball fans on why they should get into racing.

After the interview, Caleb Barnes joins host Trey Lyle. The pair go over some of the biggest storylines from the week, including the news that Steve Newmark is leaving RFK Racing to take a position at the University of North Carolina, as well as Daniel Suarez and Trackhouse Racing making the announcement that they are parting ways once the NASCAR Cup Series season ends.

The soundbite of the week comes from Chris Buescher, who added insight into his mindset of going for the best finish and the most points that are available.

Lyle and Barnes end by discussing television ratings and the hope for a potential Days of Thunder sequel.
