Lavar Scott Attempting Xfinity Debut With APR

Lavar Scott is moving to the NASCAR Xfinity Series, running two races in the series for Alpha Prime Racing, APR announced July 1.

Scott will look to make his series debut at Dover Motor Speedway this month in the No. 45.

He’ll then return at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway.

Foxtecca will sponsor the effort.

Scott currently competes full time in the ARCA Menards Series for Rev Racing. He has six top fives and nine top 10s through nine events this year.

In 2024, his first full-time main-series ARCA season, he finished second in points with 11 top fives and 15 top 10s.

Prior to his move to the national series, he drove for Rev in the ARCA Menards Series East, finishing third in points in 2023.
