The ARCA Menards Series doled out a pair of penalties following its latest race at Elko Speedway last weekend, announcing the infractions on June 25.
Joe Gibbs Racing’s race-winning No. 18, driven by Max Reaves, violated the series rule book’s minimum ballast weight specifications, per ARCA.
As a result, crew chief Matt Ross was fined $750 and was placed on probation for the remainder of the season, while Reaves and owner Joe Gibbs were each docked six championship points.
Additionally, Alex Clubb, driver and owner of the No. 03, was fined $250 and added to ARCA’s probation list for the rest of the year. According to ARCA, Clubb violated its conduct guidelines with regards to media interactions and posts on social media.
Clubb gave an interview to Frontstretch after the race during which he expressed his frustration with how he said he was raced at Elko.
Clubb finished 10th, his first top 10 of 2025, while Reaves’ victory was his first in his second main-series appearance.
