Stock Car Scoop: Chase Briscoe Capitalizes as a Summer of Strategy Continues

Despite leaving his pit stall too early, Chase Briscoe saved just enough fuel to hold off Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Denny Hamlin, earning his third career win and first win of the 2025 season. Constant communication with his crew chief James Small – as well as Hamlin getting tight in dirty air – helped the No. 19 find victory lane.

Strategy is always a major storyline at Pocono, and Caleb Barnes and Michael Massie discuss how this weekend’s race continued the trend.

One team that missed the strategy, with a few mistakes in between, was the No. 6. In a must-win situation, Brad Keselowski and his team again found adverse circumstances, this time of their own doing.

Plus, what do we expect from the in-season tournament?

There’s a lot to talk about, and only a few minutes to do so. Sign up for Stock Car Scoop on Apple Podcasts and Spotify!
