Max Reaves Wins ARCA Race at Elko

In 2024, the No. 18 team won the ARCA Menards Series race at Elko Speedway in a thrilling three-wide photo finish. In 2025, Max Reaves took the lead late in the 250-lap race on Saturday, June 21, en route to winning for the first time in his national series career.

Reaves’ victory came in his second career main series start. He is 3-for-3 in his ARCA Menards Series East career in 2025.

“It’s crazy,” Reaves told FOX Sports post-race. “I won in the East three times in a row. That was crazy, but to win in the national series like this is just awesome.”

Points leader Brenden Queen captured the pole and led the most laps, but his No. 28 Chevrolet fell off in the final stint and he wound up second.

Venturini Motorsports drivers Lawless Alan, Ty Fredrickson, and Isabella Robusto completed the top-five finishers in third through fifth, respectively.

Jason Kitzmiller came home sixth as the last driver on the lead lap.

Lavar Scott, who lost the ’24 race in that photo finish, took the lead after the second competition caution but then inexplicably slid back to one lap down in seventh place.

Taylor Reimer brought the No. 70 Toyota to an eighth-place result one week after Nitro Motorsports won for the first time in its ARCA history.

Willie Mullins and Alex Clubb rounded out the top 10 in ninth and 10th place.

Much like the previous race at Berlin Raceway, the yellow flags in this race were for single-car incidents.

Reaves took the lead on lap 204 and drove to a 3.786-second margin of victory, taking home the trophy at the shortest circuit on the ARCA schedule.
