Josh Bilicki will run two NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races this season for Niece Motorsports, the team announced June 18.
Bilicki will be behind the wheel of Niece’s No. 44 Chevrolet in two road course races, at Lime Rock Park and the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL.
“I’m excited to join Niece Motorsports and feel like this is a great opportunity for all of us,” Bilicki said in a team release. “I haven’t raced in the Truck Series in a few years now, and the starts I made were for a really small team, so I’m excited to race for a team capable of racing for the win. That’s a goal of mine, and every year, I want to be in equipment that I feel can win. This is an opportunity that we could capitalize on, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we fought for the win in both races.”
Bilicki will be the fifth driver to drive the No. 44 this year, joining Bayley Currey, Ross Chastain, Conner Jones and Matt Gould.
Bilicki’s last appearance in the Truck Series came in 2023 at The Milwaukee Mile, where he finished 36th. He’s made 11 total starts in the series since 2019.
By running the two Truck events, Bilicki will have competed in all three NASCAR national series this year. He’s run two NASCAR Cup Series events for Garage 66 and seven NASCAR Xfinity Series races for DGM Racing and SS-Green Light Racing.
