The No. 88 JR Motorsports car of Connor Zilisch has been penalized after two loose lug nuts were found after the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Nashville Superspeedway.
The team was issued a fine of $10,000 for violating Sections 8.8.10.4a (Tires and Wheels) in the NASCAR Rule Book. Additionally, crew chief Mardy Lindley is suspended for one race.
Zilisch finished second in the event at Nashville.
The suspension to Lindley is deferred to Pocono Raceway on June 21. Xfinity is off this weekend and heads to Mexico City June 14.
