Taylor Gray Claims 1st Xfinity Pole at Homestead

Taylor Gray set the quick time in pole qualifying in the NASCAR Xfinity Series from Homestead-Miami Speedway to earn his first career pole and the right to lead the field to the green Saturday afternoon, March 22.

Gray was fastest with a time of 163.32 mph.

The pole is also Gray’s first of his NASCAR national series career, as he has no poles in 56 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts since 2021.

Connor Zilisch will start alongside Gray on the front row as the fastest of the JR Motorsports contingent, followed by Nick Sanchez, who matched his career-best qualifying effort of third.

Last week’s winner, Justin Allgaier, will roll off fourth, while Christian Eckes completes the top five.

Sam Mayer, Justin Bonsignore, Ryan Sieg, Sheldon Creed, and Matt DiBenedetto fill out positions six through 10, respectively.

With 39 entries competing for 38 spots, Dawson Cram did not qualify.
