Taylor Gray Returning to TRICON in 2024

Taylor Gray has re-signed with TRICON Garage for 2024 and will run the full 23-race NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule, the team announced Nov. 11.

He will return to the No. 17, which he drove for the majority of the 2023 season.

“The opportunity to continue to grow with TRICON and Toyota is not one that I take for granted,” Gray said in a team release. “I am stoked to tackle my first complete truck season and continue developing into a weekly contender. Make no mistake, I am ready and prepared to win races in 2024.”

The announcement comes following the end of the 2023 season, which saw Gray run 20 of the 23 events on the schedule after he turned 18 in March.

He managed three top fives, six top 10s and a best finish of second at Kansas Speedway in September.

Gray debuted in the series in 2021 and earned two top 10s in 13 starts prior to his 20-race 2023.

Gray is the fourth driver to be announced to TRICON’s 2024 Truck lineup, all returning competitors, following Corey Heim, Tanner Gray and Dean Thompson. The organization also ran a fifth truck, the No. 1, nearly full time.
