Who’s Performing & Appearing at Atlanta

The West Coast swing came to an end this past weekend at Phoenix Raceway. After two races on key track types, the NASCAR Cup, Xfinity and Craftsman Truck series heads to Atlanta Motor Speedway, in its second season of featuring superspeedway-style racing.

Lyn St. James highlighted the rotation last weekend as the honorary pace car driver. As the tour visits “Hotlanta,” here is who will make an appearance at the track this weekend.

FOX Sports Booth: Tony Stewart returns to the booth alongside Mike Joy and Clint Bowyer. Smoke appeared at the Clash, Daytona 500, and Auto Club Speedway.

In the NASCAR Xfinity Series booth, Joey Logano will be back for the third consecutive week. Alongside him and Adam Alexander will be Trackhouse Racing driver Daniel Suarez, making his debut on the call this season.

Grand Marshal: The Ambetter Health 400 will feature Co-Grand Marshals. Three players from the reigning college football champion University of Georgia Bulldogs will serve in the position: Smael Mondon Jr., Mykel Williams, and Kamari Lassiter. Giving the command will be actor Jesse Matcalfe.

National Anthem: Blanco Brown, singer, songwriter, and producer, will sing the national anthem for the race.

Honorary Starter: Katherine Kirby, who is the Chief Operating Officer of Ambetter Health, will wave the green flag over the field.

Pre-race Concert: Multi-Platinum winning group Parmalee will rev the fans up before the event with the pre-race concert.

Flyover: Four T-38s will fly over the track following the national anthem. The T-38s are a part of the Florida Air National Guard’s “American Beagles.”
