Mason Maggio Attempting Xfinity Debut With MBM at Vegas

MBM Motorsports and Mason Maggio will partner for the Alsco Uniform 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, MBM announced Feb 24.

Maggio will attempt his first Xfinity start in MBM’s No. 66 Ford Mustang.

He competed last year in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for four races with Reaume Brothers Racing, earning a best finish of 27th at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway.

Maggio and MBM worked together during a January testing session at Charlotte Motor Speedway in January.

“I’m very excited to be rolling the die at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for my NASCAR Xfinity Series debut.” Maggio said in a team release. “It’s a step up the NASCAR ladder that I look forward to making.

“A huge thank you to my family for their support, Carl Long and Jason Houghtaling for the opportunity, and all our great partners for making this possible.”

Maggio’s No. 66 will carry primary sponsorship from HMY Yacht Sales.

Dexter Stacey drove the No. 66 at Daytona International Speedway, failing to qualify.
