Ryan Ellis Adds More Races With Costa Sponsorship

Ryan Ellis will feature Costa Oil sponsorship in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at more than just this weekend’s race at Auto Club Speedway, Alpha Prime Racing announced Feb. 21.

In all, Costa will sponsor Ellis’ No. 43 in four races.

After Auto Club, Costa’s colors will adorn the No. 43 at Martinsville Speedway in April, Dover Motor Speedway in April and New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

“I’m so thankful that Costa [Kapothanasis, Costa Oil founder/owner] returned to our team in 2023,” Ellis said in a team release. “I met him at the beginning of the 2022
season, and he was a motorsports fan but hadn’t been involved in racing with his brand. Working with Costa, his franchisees, and other partners has been an absolute pleasure. He’s become a friend above all else, and his support of my career means a lot to my family and me.

“To have him come back and increase his amount of races shows his commitment to supporting motorsports, and I hope that fans support Costa Oil so we can continue to work together for years to come.”

Ellis is running the majority of the 2023 season in APR’s No. 43. At Daytona International Speedway, he finished 20th.
