Williams CEO Jost Capito Stepping Down

Williams Racing CEO and team principal Jost Capito is stepping down from his role ahead of the 2023 Formula 1 season, Williams announced Dec. 12.

Capito served in the role for two years.

Additionally, the team’s technical director, FX Demaison, departs after joining in 2021.

“It has been a huge privilege to lead Williams Racing for the last two seasons and to lay the foundations for the turnaround of this great team,” Capito said in a team release. “I look forward to watching the team as it continues on its path to future success.”

A replacement for both has not been announced.

Williams has announced entries for Logan Sargeant and Alex Albon in 2023.
